2016 China Smart Cities Development and Cooperation Conference
On January 23, 2016, the “2016 China Smart Cities Development and Cooperation Conference” was held in Beijing. It was sponsored by China Information Industry Association, organized by China Information Times, and co-organized by China Information Industry Association People Benefiting Branch and China Strategic Alliance of Smart City Industrial Technology Union.
Experts from various fields, important ministerial leaders and delegates from about 100 cities studied and discussed recent polices at the conference regarding smart cities, information benefiting people, Internet+ and Big Data, based on development trend of “People-Benefiting Applications” for Smart Cities, with a focus on “Planning Smart City People-Benefiting Construction in China’s 13th Five Year Plan”.
At the conference, China Security & Fire won the “2015 China Smart Cities’ Outstanding People-Benefiting Application Case” award, for its construction project plan for Qufu Public Safety Smart System. The new practice of using security robots effectively supplements many shortcomings of traditional security, and attracted the attention of all guests.
